Bow Street Museum of Crime and Justice Guided Tour
This gift includes a private guided tour for up to 4 people of Bow Street Museum of Crime & Justice, housed within the historic building that is NoMad London.
Journey through the history of law and order in Covent Garden as you experience a 1-hour private guided tour of Bow Street Museum of Crime & Justice.
Housed within the historic building that is NoMad London, Bow Street Museum of Crime & Justice explores how Bow Street was at the centre of the development of policing and the criminal justice system since the 18th century. Discover the story of the Bow Street Runners, London's first law enforcement service, and the Metropolitan Police Officers who walked the streets in their footsteps. And hear about some of the more famous cases that passed through the Magistrates’ Court at Bow Street, like that of legendary playwright and poet, Oscar Wilde. Get exclusive access to the Museum and see objects once used by Bow Street officers, and step inside 19th century cells to discover what life was like for those working in one of London's most famous police stations, and for those who found themselves on the wrong side of the law.
Subject to availability your tour may also include a look inside Court No.1, the location where some of London's most famous criminal cases were heard, including the Kray Twins, Dr Crippen and the Suffragettes.
